1. 2020 Euro Championship Final – England vs. Italy Moneyline (7/11/21)
After a 1-1 draw over the span of 120 minutes, Italy won the 2020 European Championship in a penalty shootout. This is the first time Italy has won the European title since 1968. Gianluigi Donnarumma, the Italian goalkeeper, was Sunday’s hero. He had two saves in the shootout, which led Italy to a 3-2 penalty shootout victory.
Prior to the start of the Euro 2020 game between Italy and England, England was the favorite to win at +152. Italy was the underdog at +240. Bad beat for the England moneyline bettors and fans. But congratulations to Italy on the big win.
2. MLB – New York Yankees at Houston Astros Moneyline (7/11/21)
The Houston Astros went out with a bang in the 9th inning on Sunday. The New York Yankees were up 7-2 heading into the bottom of the 9th. 7-2. The Astros somehow managed to score six runs in the 9th inning alone! It all started when Chas McCormick doubled deep to left center, causing both Yuli Gurriel and Kyle Tucker to score. Yanks still led 7-4.
Then, Abraham Toro doubled to deep right, and McCormick scored. At this point, the Astros were down by just two runs. However, the biggest play of the game came at just the right time. Jose Altuve hit a walk-off homer, and both Toro and Myles Straw scored. The Astros defeated the Yankees 8-7. Bad beat for the Yankees moneyline bettors, but what a happy ending for the Astros.
