1. NBA – Philadelphia 76ers at San Antonio Spurs Moneyline (5/2/21)
This was surely one you didn’t want to miss on Sunday night. With just over a minute left in the fourth quarter, San Antonio’s Keldon Johnson made a shot, tying the game at 107 and forcing it into overtime. Prior to the start of this game, I had no doubts that the Philadelphia 76ers would win. However, the San Antonio Spurs played well and kept up with the Sixers, who are currently in first place in the NBA Eastern Conference.
In overtime, San Antonio’s Rudy Gay made a shot with 19.1 seconds left, tying the game at 111. At this point, Sixers moneyline bettors were very concerned and Spurs moneyline bettors were very hopeful. But those Sixers bettors didn’t have to fret for very long. Leave it to Philadelphia’s Ben Simmons, who made a tip shot at the buzzer. The Philadelphia 76ers defeated the San Antonio Spurs 113-111. Unfortunate ending for Spurs moneyline bettors.
2. NBA – Washington Wizards at Dallas Mavericks Moneyline (5/1/21)
The Washington Wizards ALMOST defeated the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday. Washington’s Russell Westbrook dropped 42 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists against the Mavericks. But he wasn’t the only Wizard made some magic out on the court. Bradley Beal also had a great game against the Mavs, finishing with 29 points.
With 26.1 seconds left in the game, Beal made two free throws, giving the Wizards a two-point lead. However, with 9.3 seconds left, Dorian Finney-Smith made a three pointer for the Mavs. Beal had one more chance at a three pointer with 2.6 seconds left, but he missed. The Dallas Mavericks defeated the Washington Wizards 125-124. Bad beat for the Wizards moneyline bettors.
