1. NBA – Washington Wizards at Atlanta Hawks Moneyline (5/10/21)
In case you missed it, Washington’s Russell Westbrook passed Oscar Robertson for the most triple-doubles in NBA history last night in the game against the Atlanta Hawks. Westbrook finished with 28 points, 21 assists and 13 rebounds. He now has 181 career triple-doubles.
In addition to Westbrook’s accomplishment, the Wizards ALMOST won the game. With 30.1 seconds left in the game, Westbrook made a shot, putting the Wizards down by just one point. The Wizards had time to make another shot and win the game. Westbrook went for a three pointer with 2.3 seconds left, but missed it, and the Atlanta Hawks defeated the Washington Wizards 125-124. Bad beat for Wizards moneyline bettors and those who bet the boost, as Westbrook finished with a triple-double and the Wizards lost by just a point.
2. NBA – Utah Jazz at Golden State Warriors Moneyline (5/10/21)
As you probably know, Steph Curry has been unstoppable and untouchable. At this point, I am convinced he is a basketball alien sent from Space Jam. I am never surprised by the talent that this guy brings to the court each game. Monday’s Golden State Warriors and Utah Jazz game was a thriller that fared well for Golden State in the end.
With 14.5 seconds left in the game, Steph made a three pointer, giving the Warriors a 117-116 lead. With 5.4 seconds left, Utah’s Royce O’Neale got fouled, sending Steph to the line for two. He made both free throws, and the Warriors took the lead by three. The Jazz did have one more chance with 4.9 seconds left. Jordan Clarkson went for a three pointer, but missed the shot. The Golden State Warriors defeated the Utah Jazz 119-116. Great ending for Dub Nation, but unfortunate one for those who bet the Jazz moneyline.
