I like the Nets on the moneyline in this one. Brooklyn’s Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant and Jeff Harris can get it done. In Brooklyn’s win over the Phoenix Suns on Sunday, Irving scored 34 points and Durant scored 33. Durant is currently at +2000 to win the regular season’s Most Valuable Player.
2. NBA – Philadelphia 76ers at San Antonio Spurs (5/2/21 at 8pm)
The Philadelphia 76ers clinched their playoff berth on Wednesday after their 127-83 win over the Atlanta Hawks. The Sixers are currently at +425 to win the Eastern Conference behind the Nets and the Bucks. They have not played well against the Bucks this season, losing all three games. The Bucks clobbered the Sixers 132-94 on April 24th. The Sixers are at +1200 to win the NBA Finals right behind the Bucks who are at +750. I like the Sixers on the moneyline against the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday. The Spurs are in 9th place in the Western Conference and I don’t think they have a chance of even coming anywhere close to the Sixers in this one. However, I like this game because it’s always fun to watch local teams dominate.
