With a stacked sports schedule comes fervent sports bettors. “In Between the Lines” gives avid fans and sports bettors exactly what they want. Looking ahead to the upcoming week in sports, “In Between the Lines” offers inside analysis on line movements and key stats.
Here’s what you absolutely can’t miss this upcoming week in sports:
1. PGA Tour – RBC Heritage Final Round (4/18/21)
Round 2 of RBC Heritage is currently underway at Harbour Town Golf Links in South Carolina. Stewart Cink is currently in first place at 12-under on the tournament. Corey Conners finished the round in second place at 11-under on the tournament. Conners finished at 7-under on the day while Cink is currently 4-under through 10 holes.
Colin Morikawa is T-3 at 9-under on the tournament. He finished at 3-under on the day. Prior to the start of the tournament, Morikawa was at +2000 to win. I think if Morikawa has another strong showing on Saturday, he could win the whole thing. However, I also think that if Conners has another performance like he did in Round 2, he could also walk away with the W. So far Conners has had the best round on Friday, finishing with nine birdies.
2. NBA – Golden State Warriors at Boston Celtics (4/17/21 at 8:30pm)
Steph Curry has always been unbelievable, but in case you haven’t noticed, he has been on a whole other level lately. The Warriors have won their past four games in a row and five out of their last six. In each of these games. Curry has scored at least 30 points. On Monday against the Denver Nuggets, Curry finished with 53 points, sinking 10 three pointers. On Wednesday against the Oklahoma City Thunder, he finished with 42 points: 11 three pointers (68.8%), 14-20 field goals (70%).
We all know that Curry can sink three pointers from pretty much anywhere on the court, but his free throw percentage is also pretty impressive. On Monday he shot 93.8% from the foul line, finishing 15-16.
The Warriors are going for their fifth win in a row on Saturday against the Boston Celtics. Based on the way Golden State has been playing, I like them on the moneyline.
