Masters week at last! Just five months removed from the last time the PGA Tour visited Augusta National, we return under normal circumstances. While a November Masters was definitely a sight to see, it’s nice getting back to this early-April feel.
Looking at recent form is always of the utmost importance. A golfer in good form that has experience at Augusta National is the type of player to target when betting on the Masters.

The PGA Tour’s newest dad, Jon Rahm, has nothing to worry about now following the birth of his baby boy this past weekend. While there was some uncertainty on whether or not Rahm would have to leave the grounds of Augusta National pending the birth of his first child, there are no worries now. Rahm is the third ranked player in the world for a reason. He hasn’t missed a cut since the Charles Schwab Challenge, which was the first tournament following the 2020 “break”. Since then, he's picked up a pair of wins, and nine additional top-10 finishes.
Getting Rahm at +1200 on Tipico is great value at the top of the board. There are four golfers with better odds than him to win this week, and that should just never be the case. Rahm has never missed a cut at the Masters in four attempts, and has top-10 finishes in each of the past three years at Augusta.
Matthew Fitzpatrick +5000
Given his play over the course of the 2021 season, Matthew Fitzpatrick finds himself in a great spot heading into the Masters this week. He’s currently the 16th ranked player in the world, yet has the 23rd best outright odds on Tipico. Fitzpatrick comes into the week having made five straight cuts worldwide, with all of them coming inside of the top-20. Speaking of form, Fitzpatrick has rattled off back to back top-10 finishes, with a T9 at the PLAYERS Championship, and a T10 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational.
Augusta National is a course where Fitzpatrick has had success in the past as well. He’s made five consecutive cuts at the Masters Tournament, with his best finish coming back in 2016 (T7). Becoming more of a household name on the PGA Tour, look for Fitzpatrick to contend this weekend at the Masters.
