Team Notes: 2021 Preseason Week 1

Ranking betting confidence for each team in the NFL

TEAM NOTES: 2021 PRESEASON WEEK 1

NFL training camps are over a week in across the league and teams are beginning to take shape. Most teams are taking part in install and conditioning phases of camp which is when coaches and general managers evaluate their rosters.

In the first edition of “Team Notes” we are releasing this season’s first NFL Team Tier List. It will function similarly to the traditional “Power Rankings” concept and will group teams based on how dangerous they are and how confident we would feel betting on them in any individual game.

Some highlights from the initial Tier List:

  • The Giants are lower than most would expect. The disfunction within the locker room coupled with their recent injuries and Daniel Jones’ camp struggles have hurt confidence in the team.
  • The Colts have been downgraded to reflect the impact of the Wentz and Nelson injuries.
  • The Rams and 49ers appear to be the early season favorites to take dethrone the Buccaneers at the top of the NFC.
  • The Packers are high on the list now that Aaron Rodgers has returned to the team.
  • Teams with the most questions to answer: Arizona, Tennessee, New Orleans, and Philadelphia.
